Jun 1, 2015: Around 200 Vespistis joined together for three days in La Marlagne, Wépion, for the 30th anniversary of the Vespa Club Namur.

Vespa Club Namur was founded in 1951. However their activities dwindled down in 1970s. In 1985, a few enthusiastic Vespa lovers joined and revived the club under the chairmanship of Dimitri Seidoff. Vespa Club Namur and its 40 odd members continue to meet and celebrate the spirit of Vespa!

Nov 13, 2014: Marc Davis from Gistel obtained the second place in the Championship of national tourist Vespa Club Belgium. The Championship title went to club mate Wilfried Desmet. Also on the third place is a member of Vespa Club Ostend. The difference between the first and the second place was barely 250 km this year.

The 23rd Edition of the AmeriVespa will be at Indianapolis from June 11th to the 14th. There will be a ride around the Indianapolis speedway amongst other things. Mark your calendar!

Jul 27, 2014: Hundreds of Vespa riders gathered on the grounds of Zeche Ewald to celebrate the ‘Queen of scooters’. The three days event saw models from the initial days to the latest. For example, the Vespa with chassis number ‘1013’ owned by Peter Witzels is presumed to have been produced in the first two or three days of production of Vespa in Germany. German chassis numbers started with 1000.

Jun 29, 2014: Vespa Club of Llanes have joined hands with the municipality to join in the ‘Solidarity Assistance Llanes’ drive to collect nonperishable food for the needy.

The Vespa that 'El Lute' stole in Leon
The Vespa that ‘El Flute’ stole in Leon to flee from the Civil Guard in 1966 is on display in the ‘60 years of Vespa in Asturias’ exhibition in Gijonés, Asturias.

Jun 18, 2014: The ‘60 years of Vespa in Asturias’ exhibition has opened in the courtyard of Antigio institute in Asturias, Spain. The exhibition which is supported by the Vespa Club Asturias will be open till July 1st. Along with scooters spanning six decades, 300 old photographs are displayed in the exhibition.

The highlight of the exhibition is the Vespa scooter which was stolen by Eleuterio Sánchez Rodríguez, known as ‘El Lute’, in León while escaping from the Coast Guard in 1966 to Salamanca. The Vespa 946 and the Vespa used by Francisco Roves and Francisco Alonso Oviedo to travel to Belgium are on display.

On Jun 21st, Vespaniada IX, will be conducted at Gijón. Over 300 scooters have already confirmed their participation in the ride.

May 17th, 2014: Vespa Club du Bassin D’Aracachon organised the 14th edition of Vesparcachonnaise on 17th and 18th of May. Saturday was for the sightseeing and picnics while Sunday was for the Vespa Rally. What better way to explore the bay!

On Mar 09, Vespa Club ‘Busca Group’ will be open to new membership for the 2014 season. They will be open on Mar 21 again for registering new members.

Feb 26, 2014: ‘Historias de Cartagena II’ by Juan Ignacio Ferrández reveals that the Vespa Club of Cartagena was found in 1955. The Vespa scooters gained in popularity through the 50s and into the 60s. The club was very active with excursions etc in local regions. It also participated in International events like the climb of Mount Veleta Granada, the national Scooter Rally in Madrid, The Barcelona EuroVespa in 1957 and Brussels EuroVespa in 1958.

Feb 27, 2014: 93 year old Bernardo Antonio will be honoured by Vespa Club Maddaloni on Sunday, March 2nd at 10:30am at the Civic Museum, Maddaloni. Vespa fans from all over Campania and Puglia will be participating in this event. A tour is organised to start from Metropolitan Bar Liberty Street. The tour will cross the main streets of Maddaloni and is scheduled to reach at the Museum at 10:30am. Bernardo Antonio has contributed to the Vespa Club activities at a national level representing province Caserta on numerous occations.
