Jun 5th 2015: Chris Macnamara from Cardiff Wales is embarking on a 5,000 miles road trip to Croatia and back on his electric blue Vespa GTS.He will cross Belgium France, Italy and former Yugoslavia to reach Croatia.

He aims to raise £15,000 for George Thomas Hospice Care,Cardiff.

Staff Roberts, a friend, will also accompany Chris on this journey. This will not be Staff’s first ride though as he has ridden to Sahara on a Vespa.

They plan to reach the town of Biograd by June 12th in time to attend the Vespa World Days 2015.

He loves Vespa from his growing ages.

”I have loved scooters ever since the 1980s growing up in Cardiff. We used to sit being mods on the museum steps with our scooters,” remembers Chris.

Apr 03, 2014: Paul Emuss will be setting on a 1,718 miles trip from Littlebury to Melito di Porto Salvo, Italy on his eight year old Vespa PX 125cc. Paul is taking this trip for two causes.

First is to raise money for the Addenbrooke Charitable Trust (ACT), where his wife, Natalie recovered from cancer late last year. Second is to help the cause of the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS). Paul’s parents were both deaf making this cause a special one for him.

The trip spans ten days including a trip to the Vespa factory in Pontedera. Melito di Porto Salvo is the southernmost tip of Italy.

Jan 31, 2014: Alex Szukalski, 25, won the ‘Design your own Vespa competition’, by Glaceau Vitamin Water. He beat 30,000 entries from across UK to bag the award. Alex runs an artwork project called Kook culture.
