Y & R Paris, along with Coty is bringing the new Vespa range of perfumes for men and women. The fragrance is designed to evoke the feeling of riding a Vespa in the countryside or the Côte d’Azur. The ‘Scent of Freedom’ photographs by Diane Sagnier depicts the Italian lifestyle. This campaign will be limited to Sephora outlets across Europe.

Mar 12, 2014: PT Piaggio Indonesia has announced the launch of the new Vespa Primavera. The keenly awaited scooter, which will be revealed at the Plaza Senayan Jakarta on Mar 21 to 23, will cost 30.8 million Rupiah on the road. Five colours will be offered – Rosso Dragon, Nero Vulcano,  Azzuro Marechiaro, Monte Bianco and Blue Midnight.

Feb 13, 2014: Vespa has confirmed the launch of the Primavera 150 in Indonesia. The exact launch date and pricing is not known yet. The 150cc engine will have a power of 12.7 kW power and 12.8Nm torque.

Sept 11, 2013: Is Vespa preparing a revised GTS for 2014?

If rumours are to be believed, a revised new Vespa GTS is on the way for 2014. The chassis will be upgraded and the engine will be replaced by the 330cc unit from Piaggio X10 350 and 350 Beverly. The engine power will obviously be more than the current GTS. Minor upgrades to the block can be expected. Details remain sparse.


Sept 25, 2013: Vespa has already sold 37 units of the new Vespa 946 in France. The Vespa 946 is priced at 9000 Euros and is the most expensive Vespa yet.

The 125cc exotic scooter was launched in France in June 2013. Piaggio has already sold 350 units of the 946 in Europe.


After a gap of 12 years, the Vespa Club of Mouscron, Belgium is reborn! The Vespa Scooter Club was founded in 1995 and had a very active and vibrant presence in Mouscron. However with the accidental death of its club members the Vespa Scooter Club ceased in 2001. In its heydays the club had organised annual rally with around 250 participants from as far as United Kingdom and Holland.

The Vespa Scooter Club was revived in March and has already participated in the Euro Vespa in Hasselt, Amsterdam Rally and Moto Legende in Dijon.

The annual membership fee is 20 Euros. Meetings are held every first Friday of the month, alternated between the clubs – Martino and Brind’Zinc.

Sept 18, 2013: Vespa launched the 946 in Jakarta. The 2013 yearly collection – ‘Ricordo Italiano’ – was launched in Jakarta for 146,000,000 IDR (OTR DKI Jakarta) or 13,400 USD.

The keenly awaited scooter is launched with the 3-valve 125 cc engine and is available in two colours – black and white.
